On October 8, 2019, the China artificial Intelligence Society (CAAI), the only national society in the field of intelligent science and technology in China, officially announced the co-selection list of members of the Chinese artificial Intelligence Society (CAAI Fellow) in 2019. 11 scientists from academia and industry, including Dr. Shen Xiangyang of Microsoft, Professor Sun Fuchun of Tsinghua University, Dr. JD.com he Xiaodong, Professor Huang Tiejun of Peking University, and Zong Chengqing researcher of Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, are on the public list.

In 1988, he led the doctoral program of Beijing normal University to develop the second international fuzzy inference engine. As the highest academic honor for its members in the Chinese Society of artificial Intelligence, the selection of members of the Chinese Society of artificial Intelligence began in 2017 to encourage its members to continue to climb the heights of science and technology. and recognize its outstanding achievements in the field of artificial intelligence and its great contributions to the society.
In 2017, 53 academicians, including 22 academicians such as Li Deyi and Zhang cymbal, were selected in the first batch, and in 2018, 10 outstanding scientific and technological workers in the AI field and AI industry leaders were added, including Academician Chen Jie, President of Tongji University, Academician Dai Qionghai of Tsinghua University, Academician Wu Zhaohui, President of Zhejiang University, and so on.
