In the post-Internet era, enterprise resilience is competitiveness. Based on the experience of nearly 30 years, the author puts forward some ideas and suggestions on the construction of test standardization system.

Establishment of Banking Software Testing Standardization Committee

It is suggested that the central bank take the lead, take the effective and experienced banks in the construction of software testing platform as the leader, participate in the participation of major state-owned banks, and reserve certain seats for commercial banks and joint-stock banks. Combine authoritative research institutions and manufacturers with relevant independent core technologies, and consider setting up foreign peer observers. While ensuring the leading role of banking business, it also ensures the leading role, practicality and good cooperation with international standards.

Launching of banking software testing standardization demonstration project

The committee shall select and define the objectives, and consider constructing demonstration projects in banks with relatively high resources, experience and test maturity, such as Bank of Communications and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. Through the construction of demonstration projects, promote the implementation and promotion of standardization.

Based on the core laboratory and Internet platform, a functional center integrating education, training, certification, promotion and incubation will be established to provide rich resources including online courses, cloud laboratories, open source software libraries, software testing and exchange communities, technical specification documents, case analysis documents, online and mobile portals, etc.

Promote standardization of efficiency and quality of test environment readiness in banking industry

To respond to business agility with efficient and high-quality testing, standards need to focus on the automation rate and quality of management process links. In the context of the Internet, the testing process is not just the coverage and accuracy of case scenarios, but also the agility of the testing process, i.e., environmental readiness efficiency, test data quality, team collaboration, etc.
