Question posed:

SQL Server database software is not installed on this machine. The addressDB.mdf and addressDB_log.ldf files are available. To view data in addressDB.mdf, how do I do it?

Solution:

You can use Visual Studio to connect database implementations

VS 2013 Menu Bar, Tools--> Connect to Database;

"Change" data source is: Microsoft SQL Server database file;

"Browse" and select the database file;

"Use Windows Authentication";

"Test Connection."

If the connection is successful, you will see what you want to see in the "Data Connection" of the "Server Explorer" on the left.

(Note: Make sure your addressDB.mdf file and log file addressDB_log.ldf are together, otherwise an error will be reported when connecting.)
