SAP Cloud for Customer(hereinafter referred to as C4C) is a new generation CRM cloud product of SAP. Although its Price function implementation is not as complex as that of SAP ERP, it can also meet various Price requirements in enterprise operation.

C4C pricing is divided into internal pricing and external pricing.

Internal Pricing involves the work center: there are mainly two Price Lists and Discount Lists highlighted in blue in the figure below.

C4C When calculating the price of a Sales Order / Sales Quote, the following priorities are used:

1. First check if a customer specific price list is maintained

2. If not, check whether there is a customer group specific price list.

3. Check if there is a distribution chain specific price list based on specific sales organizations and distribution channels

4. If none of the above tests can find the corresponding record, use the base price list maintained in the Product Work Center.

Let's run one of the simplest scenarios, using only the base price list.

In the C4C Business Configuration workspace, click Open Activity List:

Enter the keyword Sales Order query in Activity List:

Click on the hyperlink for the first search result:

Click on the Maintain Document Types hyperlink:

Create a new Document Type with ID ZTA and Maintenance Mode Internal, meaning only Internal Pricing is used.

Next, be sure to use this ZTA type when creating Sales Orders. Before you create a Sales Order, you also maintain the Price list master data.

Maintain the Price list in the Price list workcenter view:

The figure below means that for Product ID 1042416, each is worth $10.

Finally, document type ZTA is used when creating a new Sales Order,

I added 2 line items for a total of 3, so the net value of the final Sales order header is 3 × 10 =$30.

On the PRICING tab, you can also manually add other price elements, such as adding a $1 Product Cost to each product of the first line item:

So the Sales Order's gross profit margin is 28 divided by 30, which is 93.333%.

External Pricing

As the name suggests, this pricing method, the price calculation in C4C external system, may be SAP CRM or ERP.

Trigger remote price calculation at C4C terminal, and the calculation result is returned to C4C system and stored.

To use the external pricing function, you need to turn it on in scoping of C4C:

Communication and information Exchange->Integration with External Applications and Solutions->Integration into Sales, Service and Marketing process,

Tick the box before the question Do you want to create follow-up documents for sales quotes from your cloud solution to an external application.

Specify the price condition type of ERP or CRM in External Pricing of Fine tuning:
