The program I'm going to introduce today is Imperial CMS (Imperial CMS details). Imperial CMS is introduced because Imperial CMS and powerful and secure features are the best. Imperial CMS is a PHP+MYSQL program, so you need your space to support PHP (what is PHP? And there is a MYSQL database (what is MYSQL? ). Friendly reminder: all virtual hosts beyond the field of vision support the complimentary MYSQL database above PHP,500M.

Well, now that you know the basics, you can install and use Imperial CMS. First of all, go to the official Empire to download the latest version, the latest version of the Empire is version 6.0, download address: http://www.phome.net/ecms6/

After entering the download address of Imperial CMS, you will see five download links, as shown in the following figure:

The first two are displayed in simplified Chinese, the middle two are in traditional Chinese, and the last one includes a local test environment, which is generally downloaded for local testing or for people with their own servers. After uploading all the files in the image above, enter the installation address of Imperial CMS "http:// your domain name / e /" in the browser's address bar. I tested it locally, so my domain name is localhost. I just need to type http://localhost/e/install/ in the IE address bar. Enter and go to the installation page, as shown in the following figure:

There is no doubt here, just click "I agree", otherwise I won't give it to you. Ha ha ha ha. After clicking "agree", you will go to a "check the running environment" page. This step will automatically detect whether your virtual host supports Imperial CMS programs. In order to install successfully, all "√" must be displayed in the "test results" column. As shown below:

If the test results show that all are supported, click the next step directly. Then you go to the "set Directory permissions" page. This step is to check whether the files and directories have sufficient read and write permissions. If you do not have sufficient read and write permissions, the installation may not be successful, or there may be problems in the process of use after successful installation. As shown in the following figure:

Only if all permissions in the above figure show "√" can you proceed to the next step, otherwise you will not be able to install the program or you will make an error when you use it later. If you have a directory or file whose permissions show "×", you need to modify the permissions of that file or directory through FTP to 777. (how do I set directory permissions for files? ). Once set, refresh the permission status. If all permissions are displayed as supported, click next.

At this point, we move on to the fourth step, configuring the database. As mentioned earlier, Imperial CMS needs spatial support is the PHP+MYSQL database. The configuration database here is the MYSQL database. As shown in the following figure:

In the picture above, you don't need to choose the MYSQL version, the default is automatic, and the system will automatically recognize it. What you need to fill in are: database server, database user name, database password, database name these four options. These four options will be provided to you when you buy space. If the space you buy is a gift of MYSQL database, then there is a database management in the space management background, you can see this information; if you buy space that does not give away MYSQL database, you can buy another MYSQL database; note that many spaces support PHP, but not every space that supports PHP will give away MYSQL database. For example, for the space beyond the field of vision, the MYSQL database is given only if it is over 500m. Although the space below 500m also supports PHP, it does not give away the MYSQL database.

In addition to the above four options, there is a "table name prefix", which is used to identify different data tables. If you have more than two Imperial CMS installed in your database, you need to modify this "table name prefix", otherwise you can use the default. "table name prefix" can be changed at will, but keep in mind that it cannot contain numbers, only letters. In particular, you can't start with a number, otherwise irreparable errors will occur in the future data migration, backup and so on. If you modify the table name prefix, remember to remember it, and the next time your site needs to be migrated, you need to set the table name prefix to the same as before.

The last "COOKIE prefix" doesn't matter, it's fine by default.

"built-in initial data" is the data contained in the Imperial CMS program itself, with a small number of articles and so on. In order to test, you can choose Yes, so that you can see the effect of the data directly in the foreground after installation, and you can delete the data in the background after the test. Of course, you don't have to choose. After you have filled out all these, click the next step.

If the database information is filled in correctly, the system will automatically install the system at this time, otherwise an error message will pop up. After installation, proceed to step 5 to initialize the administrator account. That is, set up the backstage administrator account of your website. As shown in the figure:

Click next when the settings are complete. At this time, you will jump to the login page in the background of the website. if you do not jump automatically, you can also go directly to http:// your domain name / e/admin/ address, and then log in with the background administrator account you just set up.

The first step after installation is to update the system. Click "data Update" at the top of the background to enter the data update page, as shown below:

In the large box in the image above, click one side of each button in the order from right to left and top to bottom. After updating the data, you can go to the home page of your website to see the results. If you just selected "Yes" in the "built-in initial data" during installation, you will see a more beautiful effect at this time; if you do not choose to install the initial data, the page will be empty or a lot of error prompts. This is because your site does not have data.

This makes it easy to install Imperial CMS. CMS can be omnipotent and can change the template of the web page at will. If you know the basic HTML, you can familiarize yourself with the tags of the Empire call data, and then make your own template styles; if you can't make your own templates, you can also go to the Empire's website to find various templates.
