Google's Pixel 5 XL is not expected to be released for more than eight months, but the first rendered image of the phone has just been leaked. The rendering is from Jon Prosser of front-page technology (video below).

According to sources, it got the rendering from "extremely reliable" sources. The rendering of Pixel 5 XL is based on 3D CAD files. The truth is, this is not the only prototype Google is considering.

Sources point out that this is just one of three prototypes. As a result, Google can easily shelve this design and adopt other designs entirely. It's worth noting that you don't take this design for granted.

It will take the company several months to complete the design of the Pixel 5 series. The company usually does this before Google's input / output in May each year. As a result, they may know the final design in April or May.

Now, as you can see, this rendering can't show us the whole picture. It shows only part of the right side of the phone and the upper part of the back of the phone.

You can clearly see that its fairly large camera module has fallen off the top of the device. It's like there's a big gap on the back, which is slightly protruding.

The module consists of three cameras placed around a light-emitting diode flash sensor. To be sure, all of this provides a pretty interesting design for the back.

You will notice that the phone is black and the power / lock button is white. The power / lock button is located above the volume up and down buttons.

The camera module is large and the back of the phone is flat.

The back of the phone seems to be flat. The corners of the device are round, and so is the bottom of the camera module on the back.

We can't see the front of the phone, but the prototype you want to see has a big top frame. The top bezel combines motion sensing with advanced facial unlocking.

It is too early to speculate on the specifications of the phone, but it is almost certain that the device will be provided with the Snapdragon 865. You can also expect it to provide 5G support.

In addition to Pixel 5 XL, Google will almost certainly announce Pixel 5. That phone will be smaller. Both phones are expected to offer high refresh rate displays, which will be available along with Android 11.
