Mini-router is a plug-and-play wireless router. If you stay at the hotel on business or tourism, plug the network cable provided by the hotel room into the Ethernet port of the device, and then plug into the electrical outlet, and the whole room is covered wirelessly by Wi-Fi. Take TL-WR700N as an example to illustrate the detailed method of setting.

When the mini router is shipped from the factory, the default mode is set to AP mode. In other words, you don't need a broadband username and password, so it's simple. You just need to plug the network cable directly into the WAN port to set it up.

In AP mode, its DHCP server function is turned off, so it cannot automatically assign IP to connected computers. Therefore, first set up the same network as the client machine, and TL- WR700N manages the IP address "192.168.1.253" by default.

Turn on the wireless and it will show that you are connected to the wireless network of the mini router TL-WR700N.

Before setting up, the wireless network does not have a password.

Open the computer and type "192.168.1.253" directly in the browser address bar. The login user name and password are all admin in the router manual.

Click next directly, or select the working mode as needed, as shown in the following figure.

To set the wireless name and security information, it is recommended to select "WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK", and finally set the password.

After clicking next, the router will prompt you that you need to restart, and click restart.

After restarting, reconnect to the network you set up.

Change the wireless network to automatically access IP, so you can surf the Internet.
