Many people will argue that Google Maps now has a semi-dark mode, which we always see when we enter a low-light area during navigation. Although it looks dark on the map, most areas are still white, which is inconsistent with other appearances.

However, as the company now plans to introduce enhanced dark patterns into its applications, all that may soon change. This feature is not officially available yet, but can be found in the APK disassembly of Google Maps version 10.50.

Some of them also mentioned "appearance" in "Settings". There, you can see the options to switch to the "default device" theme, "Dark" theme, and "Light" theme. However, the report points out that this new theme change will be different from the theme change we see under the navigation appearance.

When it comes to Google Maps, the company explains in its new blog post how to use artificial intelligence to track and identify traffic jams and advise users on the best route.

In order to predict future traffic flow, Google said it would analyze the historical traffic conditions of roads over a period of time. Google then uses machine learning to combine historical traffic patterns with real-time traffic conditions and predict future traffic.
