In the previous article, we talked about how to install and prepare the prerequisites for SCOM2016.

Next, let's officially start installing SCOM 2016.

In the last picture above, we have passed all the prerequisite checks

We click on the next step for subsequent installation.

Here, since we are the first SCOM in the domain, we choose to create a new administrative group and name it

According to manage, read and check the license statement, click next

Here the system requires us to enter information about how to operate the database, because we have created a SQL Server 2016 before, so I will enter the machine name of SQL directly here.

Then specify the data warehouse server. Similarly, after entering the database name, everything else can remain by default.

Keep the default selection of web site

When selecting authentication mode, select mixed authentication mode

Enter the account that runs all SCOM services. This account had better have the permissions of SQL and local server administrator.

Use the diagnostic data page to click on the next step

On the installation summary page, see the names of the two databases clearly for future maintenance

There are also the following three application web addresses, and then click install

The system begins to install

After the program is installed, use the administrator command to run Powershell to enter License into SCOM

At this point, the System Center 2016-Operations Manager program is installed!
