How to create a virtual machine under the new Azure portal. Convenient management is divided into three steps: creating a storage management account, creating a virtual network, and creating a virtual CVM.

When we open it, we will see the corresponding interface and enter the portal login interface, as shown below:

After logging in to the portal, we will see the interface, which shows that there are many service items, and we find the New button. As shown below:

At present, we take the creation of virtual machines as the premise, leaving other services aside. Click create in the upper left corner, as shown below:

The pop-up interface displays virtual machine (Virtual Machines), network (Networking), and storage (Storage), as shown in the following figure:

Follow the steps to facilitate management, of course, all can be created by default, we first create a storage account. As shown below:

When we get inside, we'll see a lot of options, but we only need to pay attention to a few points. Deployment models: there are two, one for the new portal architecture and one for the classic (the old portal will be discontinued later). Storage accounts are also divided into standard and advanced (and storage HDD and SSD disks). As shown below:

There are also two types of accounts, general purpose and Blob storage, which are judged according to the business situation. In the case of most books, we generally default to general use. As shown below:

There are four storage modes under replication: regional redundant storage (ZRS), local redundant storage (LRS), remote redundant storage (GRS), and read access remote redundant storage (RA-GRS), which are different redundant backup mechanisms, which can be selected according to your needs. As shown below:

Resource group, you can create a new one or select the default. At present, there are only computer rooms in the east (Shanghai) and the north (Beijing) in China. When the selection is complete, click create. As shown in the figure:

Create a virtual network

Create a virtual network. Click on the virtual network (Networking), we will see a lot of options, find the virtual network, click in. As shown below:

After entering the network option, enter the matching name, subnet address, subnet name can be customized, resource group and location must be consistent with the previous storage account, and then click create. As shown below:

Create a virtual CVM

Step 1, click the virtual machine option, enter the mirror library, and select the image you want to create the system. Editor is using windows2012r2 to do the presentation, by default, you do not need, you can check all inside. As shown below:

According to the option, fill in the characters that meet the requirements, and the general system will determine that the characters that meet the requirements will be displayed at the end of the box. The disk type is optional: HDD and SSD (demonstrated by the editor in SSD), and the geographical location below is still consistent with the previous creation. As shown in the figure:

After confirming, go to step 2, select your corresponding model size, including deleting the configuration and viewing all. As shown below:

Go to step 3 to set up, you can either create and redeploy the new storage account, or select the previously created storage account. For ease of management, we choose the one that has already been created. As shown below:

We will also see "Select Virtual Network" and "create Virtual Network". We will choose "Select Virtual Network" (which has been created before), and others can default. As shown below:

Once confirmed, enter the summary of step 4, you can view your pre-selected machine configuration, and then click OK to wait for the creation to be completed. As shown below:

Matters needing attention

When creating a CVM architecture, regions and resource groups must be consistent during the creation process.
