SQL Alwayson scheduled task backup settings

Highly available group backup parameter settings

1. Log in to the administrative console of the main copy of SQL and expand the high availability option.

Create a backup schedule task for the database

1. Expand management options and select the maintenance plan

4. After the time of the scheduled task is set, click OK and proceed to the next step. In this step, we can select the scheduled task, such as backing up the complete database, differential database, log, etc., check the task to be done, and click next.

5. In this step, you need to select the database to execute the plan, and the path to the database backup, as shown in the figure:

6. Set the backup path and backup file extension in the destination tab, as shown below:

7. Set the backup expiration time in the options and set it according to the actual situation, as shown below:

8. Delete backup files that have been saved for a long time on a regular basis (set up according to the actual situation), as shown below:

9. Click next, and click finish, as shown below:

10. Set up differential backup and log backup as described above.
