Mesa 18.2.8 was released today, the final planned release point for the Mesa 18.2 series. To continue receiving OpenGL/Vulkan open source driver updates, users are encouraged to transition to Mesa 18.3.

Mesa 18.2.8 rolled back the new Vega M PCI ID and other new Vega 10 and Vega 20 PCI IDs we discovered in recent weeks for AMD/Radeon Linux graphics driver stacks for currently unannounced products. By establishing existing Vega (and Polaris, in the case of Vega M) support, it is safe to return to the 18.2 stable series.

Mesa 18.2.8 also fixes its Meson build system, some fixes for the Gallium "Nine" Direct3D 9 status tracker, some VirGL driver fixes, RADV hang fixes for Windows Yakuza games using Steam Play under DXVK, and a few other patches.
