I recently dealt with a case in which storage was unavailable due to a disk failure on a tide server:

Fault description:

A wave server in a bureau of a city in Ningxia, the bottom layer is a RAID composed of 6 300GB SAS hard drives. The two disks turn on the yellow light, causing RAID5 to crash, storing Oracle database files, and dividing a total of 1 volume on the upper layer of the server system, with a volume size of 1.5 TB. Later, due to disk failure, the server is unavailable and has been insured, so the customer will contact our company. Hardware detection:

First of all, we did a hardware test on the customer's six hard drives and found that the customer's two hard drives were bad, and the error redundancy level of SMART had exceeded the threshold. Four normal hard drives are fully mirrored, and the other two bad hard drives are restored with professional tools to generate image files.

Fault analysis:

Analyze the offline time of the two hard drives, so as to know which hard disk has the latest data, and use the latest data hard disk for data recovery.

Solution:

Back up all the hard drives of the server accordingly. After that, only the image file is analyzed to ensure the security of the user's original media. )

First of all, six disks are virtually restored before the RAID state, and the 1.5T lun is extracted from the virtual RAID through the bitmap information.

According to the underlying structure analysis, export user data and verify that the database file is normal.

We copy all the files in the volume and give them to the database engineer to verify the database and import the data. the database files are verified normally and imported smoothly, and then the database is backed up again. and give the database file and backup file to the user together. The data was recovered successfully and approved by the user.
