Run the virtual machine directly from the backup

The article demonstrates the process:

1. Install Veeam Backup and Replication 7.0,

2. Add vCenter Server

2. Add vCenterServer

Because the Windows operating system with Veeam font size for East Asian languages needs to be optimized.

The solution is as follows:

While running, enter regedit and enter the registry editor to make changes to the following:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ WindowsNT\ CurrentVersion\ GRE_Initialize

Then modify the following three registry settings:

1) GUIFont.CharSet = 128 (decimal)

2) GUIFont.Facename = Tahoma
