Tokyo-Renesas Electronics Co., Ltd. (TSE:6723), a leading provider of advanced semiconductor solutions, has deepened its partnership with Microsoft to provide a seamless device-to-cloud experience for Internet of things developers. In October 2019, the two companies began working together to provide a complete chip-to-cloud Internet of things solution for C, IoT plug and play, IoT Central and IoT Hub, based on Renesas microcontroller (MCU) and microprocessor (MPU) devices and Microsoft Azure Internet of things building blocks (including Azure RTOS and Azure Internet of things device SDK).
