Order line items with the same shipping criteria for due delivery can be shipped together; the required shipping criteria includes shipping point, the route, and ship-to party. Some shipping criteria in the standard system is optional and can be removed from the copying control table as splitting criteria. We can also define additional splitting criteria, and joint shipping is not allowed if the defined fields has different values.

Fourth, shipping-related configuration Shipping-relevant Customizing in Sales

We can set the following parameters in the configuration interface of the sales order type: whether there is a requested delivery date in which delivery type; sales order is brought out by outbound delivery and how long it will take in the future; whether to automatically create an outbound delivery in the background when the sales order is saved, and so on.

Order item category level's delivery relevance is only valid for text or value items. For example, if we can set a text item related to delivery, it will be copied from the standard order to outbound delivery and recorded in delivery note.

Actual delivery using the interface to the MM inventory management module can only occur when using schedule lines. This is why in standard cases sales order item category must allow schedule lines and schedule line category must be set to relevant for delivery.

The Goods issue mobility type (or return deliveries's goods receipt mobility type) is defined in schedule line category level (transaction code VOV6).
