­A week after the launch of the official version of Linux Kernel 4.13, kernel maintainer Greg Kroah-Hartman released the first maintenance version update of the branch today, and recommended that all users of the branch complete the upgrade as soon as possible, showing on the Kernel.org website that the branch has been marked "stable", which means it can be used on a daily basis.

­Linux Kernel version 4.13.1 mainly updates various wireless drivers such as ath10k of Atheros, iwlwifi of Intel, mwifiex of Marvell, rtl8188ee, rtl8192ce/cu/de/ee/se, rtl8723ae/be and rtl8821ae of Realtek, and makes many improvements to USB, ATA, Android, Bluetooth, iiO, SCSI and GPU drivers.
