The OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" of the linked server "data" reported an error. The provider terminated execution because the resource limit was reached.

Unable to extract rowset from OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI11" of linked server "data".

Solution: use the following code to set the remote query timeout value to 0 (infinite wait) (the default is 600 seconds):

Sp_configure 'remote query timeout', 0
