(hereinafter referred to as: China Mobile) announced the winning candidates for the joint innovation project of self-controllable OLTP database, in which 1000 sets of tender packages for main and standby databases with an amount of 40 million yuan and 500 sets of distributed bid packages with an amount of 20 million yuan were announced. The winning candidates are as follows:

The first winning candidate: Tianjin Nanda General data Technology Co., Ltd.

Tender quotation: 22680000.00 yuan (excluding tax)

The winning share is 50%.

The second winning candidate: Beijing people's Congress Jincang Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Tender quotation: 23800000.00 yuan (excluding tax)

The winning share is 30%.

The third winning candidate: Aliyun Computing Co., Ltd.

Tender quotation: 35000000.00 yuan; (including tax / excluding tax)

The winning share is 20%.

Package 2 (distributed)

The first winning candidate: Beijing Wanli Open Source Software Co., Ltd.

Tender quotation: 9415000.00 yuan (excluding tax)

The winning share is 60%.

The second winning candidate: ZTE Corporation

Tender quotation: 14400000.00 yuan (excluding tax)

The winning share is 40%.

It is understood that China Mobile conducts database collection every two years. Compared with previous years, this year's database collection project lists the pure localization of database-related services as procurement requirements for the first time. According to China Mobile's tender announcement, the core code of the bidding product must be independently developed by the bidding company, with database invention patents and intellectual property rights.

In 2016 and 2018, China Mobile directly purchased 1666 and 3002 sets of Oracle databases respectively. This time, China Mobile has purchased 1500 sets of databases, which has reached 50% in 2018.

Some commentators believe that China Mobile's large-scale collection requires pure localization of database services, which reflects China Mobile's determination to promote the independent control of the database, and is also an important signal for the industry to launch a large-scale and omni-directional landing.
