How to install Zeit under Linux
For Ubuntu and Ubuntu-based distributions, you can install the stable version by adding a PPA repository, as mentioned below.
Linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:blaze/main linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ sudo apt update linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ sudo apt install zeit
You can also try the development version of Zeit by adding the following PPA repositories.
Linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:blaze/dev linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ sudo apt update linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ sudo apt install zeit
For other Linux distributions, you can build it from the source code shown below.
Linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ git clone https://github.com/loimu/zeit.git linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ mkdir build & & cd build linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ cmake. Linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ make-j2 linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$. / src/zeit

Use the at command to execute aperiodic commands
Non-periodic commands allow scheduling commands to run once. Yeah, that's it. It uses the "at" command. Go to View → Select aperiodic commands (VIEW → Select NONPERIODIC COMMANDS) or press "CTRL + N".
Select add Command Add Command, as shown in the following figure, and then add an entry. I'm planning a command to run at 15:23. This command creates an empty log file in the "www.linuxmi.com" folder and adds today's date to the file name, as shown below.
NOW=$ (date +% F); touch / home/linuxmi/www.linuxmi.com/log_$ {NOW} .txt
Now an entry has been added. You cannot modify the scheduled command, but you can use Delete Command to delete the command before running it.
Delete command
At 15:23, the command will run as scheduled and an empty log file will be created.
The command was executed successfully
Use Cron jobs to run scheduled tasks
To schedule Cron jobs, select recurring tasks periodic task or press CTRL + P. By default, zeit starts with scheduled tasks.
Schedule scheduled tasks
Enter a description, command, and scheduled time, and then press OK to add the entry to crontab.
Schedule commands to run
Now my work schedule is at 15:42 every day.
Schedule a task
You can use "crontab-l" to check the crontab, where entries are automatically added.
Linuxmi@linuxmi:~/www.linuxmi.com$ crontab-l
List Cron work
In addition to "at" and "crontab", there are two functions that use alarm clocks / timers to remind us by calling sound. This entry will also be added to the crontab.
Set the alert to a scheduled task
