Htop-Interactive process Viewer

You may know the standard tool for viewing real-time processes on your machine, top. If you don't know, run $top and run $man top to read the help manual.

Htop is an extended version of top, with a richer overview (such as full command, visualization, graphical user interface gui and user interface ui), mouse click interaction (translator's note: look at the screenshot below, refers to the top column headings such as CPU%, MEM%, etc., can be switched by mouse click to show different functions), there are also many instructions on how to do process management.

Iotop-A simple top-like iAccord O monitor

Iotop is the real-time monitor of IO. Use their attached detailed input output (IO) methods to display information about each process thread in your system.

This command can be used with $tcpdump, a command that responds to network traffic. If you find a program running on your web server, you can, for example, run $tcpdump port 80 to check the network traffic on port 80 (the standard http port) to see the details.

Perhaps the most useful information is the DISK WRITE column, from which you can see exactly how many processes are used for each IO, in KComps.

Install the command and try to run:

$sudo apt-get install iotop

Apachetop shows the real-time table for http requests on the Apache web server.

It shows statistics (stats), click (hits), request (requests), request details (request details), and can get an overview of the current program running on your web server, which is great.

Glances monitors PerCPU, Load, Memory, Swap, Network, Disk Disk O, Mount data and processes with limited interaction possibilities and deeper information, but it is absolutely essential to get an overall picture.
