Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
Today, I will talk to you about how to resolve and bind domain names. Many people may not know much about it. In order to make you understand better, the editor has summarized the following contents for you. I hope you can get something from this article.
So after registering a domain name and buying a virtual host, how can I type your domain name into IE and open your site? This requires the domain name to be resolved to the space, and the space also needs to bind the domain name. Today we will talk about domain name resolution and binding:
Step 1: domain name resolution
Take my excellent online bookstore (www.6read.com) as an example. First, log in to the domain name management page, enter the domain name MY DNS management function (some places are also directly called "resolution"), and you can see a page shown in the following figure:
If you do not need to make any changes to the "NS" in the red box above (a maximum of 20 domain names are allowed), you can use the default. If you do not know how to change the domain name, it will directly cause the domain name to fail to be resolved. What we most commonly use is the function in the blue box. You can see that there are three functions:
1), host (A), this is what we often call A record; A record is used to specify the IP address record corresponding to the host name (or domain name). You can only fill in the IP address here, so if you buy only one IP address, you should use A record.
2), aliases (CNAME), that is, aliases (CNAME) records, or aliases, CNAME records; if the virtual host you bought is two-line, you usually use CNAME records for resolution.
3), mail exchange record (MX), this is used to parse the mail server, if you buy a corporate post office you need to use this record, otherwise you do not need to use it.
The bottom "TXT" is the TXT record, which generally refers to the description set for a host name or domain name, which is rarely used. I haven't used it yet and I don't know what it is for, so I won't explain it here.
The parsing method of ① and A records:
Take my excellent online bookstore (www.6read.com) as an example. The IP address of my virtual host is 118.144.82.179. If I want to make my website www.6read.com accessible normally, I first need to parse it through A record, as follows:
1), "add a new A record" under A record, as shown in the following figure:
2) then, as shown in the following figure, fill in "www" in front of the domain name and the IP of the virtual host in the IP address bar
Then click "submit", and such an A record is done. However, the website is not accessible yet; to make the website accessible properly, you also need to bind the space to the domain name.
Binding method of ② and domain name:
First, log in to the management page of the host, go to the virtual host control panel, and you can see all the information of the space:
Click "bind Domain name" on the left to enter the bound domain name page, as shown in the following figure:
Because I have bound three domain names before, you can see that I have bound three; enter the domain name you need in the "enter a new domain name" box, because I used www.6read.com to resolve to this space, so I should fill in "www.6read.com" here. Then click "add" below.
At this point, the domain name resolution and binding is complete. The next step is to wait for the parsing to take effect, which usually takes a few minutes or hours. After the resolution takes effect, as long as there is a web file in the space, then your domain name can be accessed normally.
After reading the above, do you have any further understanding of how to resolve and bind domain names? If you want to know more knowledge or related content, please follow the industry information channel, thank you for your support.
