Configure the environment

Windows version: Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise

Service Pack 1

System type: 64-bit operating system

Configure the DNS server

This step is not required and the DNS server can be installed at the same time as the Active Directory domain service is installed.

In view of the fact that the server configuration is prone to some unknown minor errors, it is easier to install ^ _ ^ in advance!

(1) Open the server manager in the lower left corner of the desktop

(2) Select the "roles" node of the left tree menu, and right-click "add roles".

The screenshot steps are as follows:

Configure Active Directory domain services

Start menu-- > run-- > enter the command "dcpromo" and click the "OK" button to enter the installation interface.

Pop up the Active Directory Domain Services installation wizard and click next

Click next:

Select "New Domain in New Forest" and click "next":

Enter the domain name and click "next":

Select "Windows Server 2008 R2" at the forest functional level and click "next":

Click the "next" button. If DNS is not installed initially, you can check it here and install it:

Click "next":

Click "finish":

Note: the system needs to be restarted before the configuration can take effect!
