Xiaobian to share with you WEB page tool language XML application classification example analysis, I believe most people still do not know how, so share this article for everyone's reference, I hope you read this article after a lot of harvest, let's go to understand it!
XML Application Classification
In general, XML applications fall into four categories:
(1) Applied when customers need to interact with different data sources. The data may come from different databases, each with its own complex format. But customers interact with these databases only through a standard language, XML. Because of XML's customization and extensibility, it is sufficient to express various types of data. Customers can process the data after they receive it, or they can transfer it between different databases. In summary, XML solves the problem of a uniform interface to data in such applications. However, unlike other data transfer standards, XML does not define the specific specifications for the data to appear in the data file, but attaches tags to the data to express the logical structure and meaning of the data. This makes XML a specification that programs can automatically understand.
(2) It is applied to distribute a large amount of computing load on the client side, that is, the client can choose and make different applications to process data according to their own needs, while the server only needs to issue the same XML file. As discussed above, according to the traditional "client/server" mode of operation, the client sends different requests to the server, and the server responds respectively. This not only increases the load of the server itself, but also the network manager must investigate various user requirements in advance to make corresponding different procedures. However, if the user requirements are complex and changeable, it is still inappropriate to concentrate all business logic on the server side. Because server-side programmers may not have time to meet the many application requirements, nor to keep up with changes in requirements, both sides are very passive. Application XML gives the initiative of processing data to customers, and what the server does is to encapsulate the data into XML files as perfectly and accurately as possible. XML's self-interpretability makes it possible for clients to understand the logical structure and meaning of data while receiving it, thus making it possible for widespread and universal distributed computing.
(3) It is used to present the same data to different users in different appearances. This application can also be seen in the example above. It is similar to the same script, but we can use TV series, movies, plays, cartoons and other forms of expression. This application will pave the way for personalized and stylized web user interfaces.
(4) Apply to the network agent to edit, add or delete the obtained information to meet the needs of individual users. Some customers acquire data not for direct use but to organize their own databases according to their needs. For example, the Ministry of Education established a huge question bank. During the examination, several questions from the question bank were taken out to form an examination paper, and then the examination paper was encapsulated into an XML file. Next, the most exciting part was passed through a filter in each school to filter out all the answers, and then sent to each examinee. The unfiltered content could be sent directly to the teacher. Of course, after the examination, a compilation of answers could also be sent. In addition, XML files can also include other relevant information such as difficulty coefficients, error rates in previous years, etc., so that only a few Mini programs are needed, and the same XML file can be transformed into multiple files and transmitted to different users.
