(1) unplug the power cord from the switch.

(2) press the MODE key to plug in the power until the following interface appears, and release the mode key.

(3) execute the flash_init command after switch

Switch:flash_init

(4) View the files in FLASH

Switch:dir flash:

(5) rename the config.text file to config.old

Switch:rename flash:config.text flash:config.old

(6) execute the boot command to start the switch

Switch:boot

(7) enter privileged mode to view files in flash

Switch#dir flash:

(8) change config.old back to config.text

Switch#rename flash:config.old flash:config.text

(9) copy config.text to the running-config of the system

Switch#copy flash:config.text running-config

(10) enter the configuration mode to reset the password and save the disk, and the password recovery is complete.
