A simple and practical method of Dameng DTS

A normal step:

Create a new DM instance and start it

Create a new tablespace.

Confirm the users who need to be migrated on the source side (generally not all, for example, many system users do not need to migrate)

Create a new user on the destination side for each user that needs to be migrated.

Empower newly created users. Grant resource to new_users

You can migrate with DTS, and migrate from user1 to user1,user2 to user2.

1. Step (window)

1. Open Dameng DTS. Click the menu → all Files → Damon Database → client → DM data Migration tool. As shown below:

two。 Enter the data migration interface, and the left menu shows as follows: 246 and HELLO are projects that have been created. If no projects have been created, the left menu is empty. First, create the project. Click the chart in the upper right corner of the left menu to create a new project. Name the project. Click OK.

3. Click the front "" drop-down button. Show project files: migration, job, scheduling, database type mapping.

4. Right-click "migrate" → newly built migration → enter as shown in figure 1 → fill in "Migration name" → Click "start" → to confirm to enter figure 2. → Click "next" to enter figure 3 → Select Migration method → next step to add Source data connection figure 4 → next step → to add destination connection in the same way as figure 4

5. The mode of selecting source and destination is as follows.

6. Find the table that needs to be moved

7. Double-click to select the migration table for detailed settings. The figure below is as follows
