The new version of Unity 2018.1, released on May 2, 2018, is designed to make life easier for game developers and help them quickly produce stronger and more interesting games. Brett Bibby, producer of the Unity engine, said: "version 2018.1 is one of the largest updates we have ever made, focusing on two core concepts-lower-level rendering and default performance."
