When expanding the hard disk space, I didn't have any relevant knowledge at all. I followed the online tutorials step by step. As for the meaning of each step, I didn't understand it. The hard disk was set to 20 gigabytes. I didn't expect it to be completely insufficient now. So I explored a wave of how to expand the hard disk, and how to partition and mount it later, and wrote a more comprehensive and detailed step.

This part is very simple, and there are already many tutorials on the Internet, so I put one casually. Different virtual machine versions may operate slightly differently, but they are similar.

I. Click the disk when the virtual machine is off, as shown in the figure below:

II. Click on the pop-up window to expand as shown in the figure below:

III. It's important here to choose the disk size is the total disk size after expansion

IV. After clicking on the extension prompt, it takes a while to complete the extension, as shown in the figure:

v. Click to open this virtual machine as shown in the figure below:

vi. After the virtual machine is booted, right-click My Computer and select the management item as shown in the figure below:

VII. Open Disk Management and you will see that the disk you just expanded is "unallocated". Right-click the unallocated disk and select New Simple Volume, as shown in the figure below:

VIII. The New Simple Volume Wizard pops up. Click Next all the way until you finish, as shown in the figure below:

IX. When you finish all the way, you can create a new disk. When blue, you can delete the newly created volume and then select D disk expansion. The method of expanding D disk is the same. I won't repeat it.
