Some Android 10 users are surprised to find that a setting in Play Store activates the long-needed "dark mode" feature.

Don't hope too early. It hasn't officially appeared yet. However, as Android has discovered, some users do find dark mode settings in their game store apps. While Android 10's system-wide dark mode works well, Play Store is one of the few major Google apps and does not provide specific application support for dark themes.

When officially launched, it is obvious that permanent light, permanent dimming or automatic selection will be allowed according to the overall system settings. With the increasing popularity of dark mode among users, this option is likely to be warmly welcomed at a later stage.

Although this feature seems to be random, regardless of the application version, it seems to be available only on Android 10 devices. Support for Pie and earlier versions is still unknown, although it may only appear on devices with newer operating systems. We'll just have to wait and see.
