Nowadays, with the rapid development of modern computers, database backup is becoming more and more important. Programmers often ignore backup data because they do not pay attention to it, resulting in data loss and very serious consequences. There is no doubt that regular backup is the best way to solve the backup. This paper mainly uses Navicat to automatically back up the database and create related scheduled tasks.

(1) use Navicat to back up the database automatically:

1. Open the navicat client, connect to mysql, and double-click the database you want to back up on the left. Click Plan, and then click New batch Job as shown below.

2. Double-click the available task above, and it will go to the list below, which also means that you have selected the task

3, click Save, pop up a naming dialog box, give the task a name, and click "OK"

4. Click "set scheduled tasks" and click the scheduled tab to define the time when multiple scheduled tasks can be created for backup around 4: 00 a. M. every day, and so on. Enter the user name and password of the local administrator after confirmation, and the automatic backup settings are completed.

5. Send backup information to your mailbox

6, click start, and the backup of the database you just created leaves to perform the backup operation.

So far, it is done by using the method of automatically backing up the database by navicat.

(2) use navicat to create a report and automatically send attachments to the specified mailbox.

1. Select the appropriate database, select the report, and create a new report.

2, in the new report, select: data-File-New-query designer-SQL-- Click the blank "Edit SQL" to paste the query statement into the sql, figure 1, figure 2, figure 3, figure 4.

3. Design the report, click Design, and pull down the column from the data query to the top, as shown in the following figure

4, preview the report, click Preview and adjust the corresponding size to achieve your satisfaction and maintain (Ctrl + S).

5. Create a new schedule: plan-- create a new batch job, as shown in the following table.

6. Go to the Advanced tab to make relevant settings, as shown in the following figure.

7. Open the mailbox to receive the relevant information, and then use navicat to create the report and send the email. I hope it will be helpful to you.
