VMware virtual machine configuration

1. Create a new virtual machine:

9. IO controller is recommended. Next step.

10. Disk type selection is recommended. Next step.

11. Select the hard disk to create a new virtual disk.

12. The disk size is customized. Choose to store the virtual disk as a single file.

Specify the name and storage location of the file.

14. Here you can see the configured virtual machine, name, location, virtual machine version, hard disk, memory, network configuration, and other configurations.

15. When you are finished, you can see the virtual machine, and then click Virtual Machine configuration. Let's configure the optical drive and add a hard disk for the virtual machine.

16. Select CD/DVD, select use ISO image file on the right, and select the location where your ORACLE LINUX image is stored.

17. Add a hard disk to the virtual machine, select add, and then select the hard disk, next.

Create a new virtual disk.
