NOVELL-ZMD service: ZMD is a SUSE LINUX system service, called "peripheral service" in Chinese books, and Novell ZENworks Linux Management daemon in English. It runs by default. In my opinion, it is the Updater of some system software. Open "YaST", click "System" in the left panel, and click "System Service (Runlevel)" in the column to open a new window. In the middle of the various services, you will see "movell-zmd", select and click the "Enable" button, then press "Finish", ZMD will start immediately, and the next time you start Linux, it will start.

Some people set ZMD not to boot in order to reduce the boot speed, so it can be seen that ZMD will not affect the core services.

Analysis: after the ZMD service starts, it will be updated every 6 hours, and port 80 will be occupied during the update, which will conflict with the 80 service ports of TOMCAT, APACHE and other applications, resulting in the application's 80 ports being unavailable. Therefore, the service can be disabled after the software is installed or updated.
