Finally, there was no way. I asked the server provider and found that the fsockopen function was not disabled (this function is a very important function for sending mail by phpcms). Finally, I called up the error log of phpcms (the error log of phpcms is the error_log.php file). The location of the error log is: root directory / caches/error_log.php), and I found that the mail was sent every time. The error log will have the same error (fsockopen (): unable to connect to smtp.163.com:25 (Connection timed out)).

The original meaning of this sentence is that you cannot connect to port 25 of the e-mail address (the mail server used here is 163). In other words, the server forbids port 25.

The editor uses the Ali cloud server here. After discussion with the server provider, it is found that the 25-port mail port of the Ali cloud server is prohibited by default, and it is very troublesome to apply for it, and it may not be approved.

The editor then changed to port 465, because the port 465 server is not prohibited. But simply changing the phpcms background mail sending port to 465 can not send mail, so how to change it?

In fact, it is very simple, in the mail server line to change to: ssl://smtp.163.com (here can be changed to QQ, Sina, but do not forget the front ssl://), this is fine.

By the way, don't forget that the verification password is the client authorization password, and the mail setting test is the email address that accepts the email.
