The schema file stores field and field type information in detail. Different initialization configurations, or subsequent configuration changes, will result in different shema files used.

Managed-schema.xml file, which is the default schema profile. Can only be modified through schema api.

Schema.xml file, which can only be modified manually

The content of the two files is the same, but the way to modify the file is different. If you use the schema.xml file in solrcloud, you can only back up the schema.xm file locally and upload it to zookeeper through the zookeeper command (cloud environment, the schema configuration file is on zookeeper).

Four attributes of FIELD TYPE

Name (required)

Class that implements the property (required)

If the implementation class is the description of the TextField,field analysis

Feild type other properties. It varies according to different implementation classes (some implementation classes are required)

The rest of ② is about field analysis, including indexes and how they are analyzed when querying.

When indexing, specify lexical analysis class, stop word, whether to ignore case, etc.

When querying, you should also specify the lexical analysis class, synonym text library, whether to ignore case, etc. (see the above example for details).
