When I started using redhat, basically nothing and the IP address will not be set, so when I want to use Xshell, I basically have to check the ip address every time, open Xshell and establish a new session to operate, these steps are very troublesome, so I want to set up a fixed ip in redhat, so I don't have to build a new session every time

Steps:

1, open it first

A, computer-- > right click-- > Management

B, device Manager

On the personal pc logo (e.g., 'xin')-- > right-click-- > "add obsolete hardware"

C, next step

D, select the network adapter

E, select Microsoft-- > Microsoft KM-TEST loopback adapter

Note: if non-win8,win8.1.win10 users do not choose this, but choose

Network Adapter-- > Mirosoft-- > Mirosotf Loopback Adapter

Next, install.

F, open again-- > Network Adapter

One more is called virtual machine private network, which is used to bridge with vm and local network.

One: (1) Open vm-- > Edit-> Virtual Network Editor-- >

First of all, delete all the original ones.

Open again-- > change Settings-- > add Network

Second: open-redhat in vm to set the IP address

(1), log in to redhat with the root user

(2), setup command to set ip

(3) Network configuration-- "Edit Devices"

(4) Select the first one for editing

Set the ip and subnet mask as shown in the figure

(5) now, you can ping the redhat in the virtual machine on the CMD on this machine. Whether you can ping it or not, the connection is successful.

(6) Command to restart Nerwork

Service network restart

(7) Open the Xshell connection to the ip address set for you by redhat,add
