What is agile development?

Agile development (Agile Development) is a human-centered, iterative, step-by-step development method.

How do you understand it? First of all, we have to understand that it is not a technology, it is a development method, that is, a software development process, which will guide us to complete the project step by step with the prescribed links; and the main driving core of this development method is human; it uses iterative development.

Why is it that people are the core?

Most of us have learned about the waterfall development model, which is document-driven. Why? Because in the whole development process of the waterfall, you have to write a lot of documents, and after writing out the requirements documents, developers develop according to the documents, everything is based on the documents, while agile development only writes the necessary documents, or write as few documents as possible, agile development focuses on face-to-face communication between people, so it emphasizes people as the core.

What is iteration?

Iteration refers to the decomposition of a complex and long development cycle into tasks that can be completed in a small cycle, and such a cycle is an iterative process; at the same time, each iteration can produce or develop a deliverable software product.

About Scrum and XP

Agile is a guiding ideology or development method, but it does not tell us exactly what kind of process to use for development, and Scrum and XP are the specific ways of agile development, and you can use Scrum or XP; the difference between Scrum and XP is that Scrum focuses on process and XP focuses on practice, but in practice, the two are applied together. Here I am mainly talking about Scrum.

What is Scrum?

Scrum is a technical term for rugby, meaning the act of "fighting for the ball"; name a development process Scrum, and I'm sure you can imagine that when your development team is developing a project, everyone is as fast and passionate as playing football, and everyone is fighting for it. You must be very excited.
