Windows system

Linux system

Linxu is an operating system specially built for multi-user server environment, which can enable different users to log in to the system together, and it is fair to share resources. Linux runs stably and efficiently, and has a large number of users and community support. It can quickly find system vulnerabilities and release security patches. In addition, it also supports a large number of high-quality open source software. However, the operating system based on Linux has higher technical requirements, and it is difficult to manage for small businesses or ordinary users.

Linux has a large number of distributions available, each with a complete server operating system and a manager that allows users to easily install software such as Web servers or e-mail services, such as CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian. CentOS is an enterprise-class Linux distribution, stable, small resource consumption, simple configuration; Ubuntu has a strong software source support, good compatibility, but mainly desktop applications; Debian is famous for stability, the basic core of the whole system is very small, for small memory, the preferred Debian.

How to choose the operating system?

So which operating system is more appropriate to choose in the process of building the station? It mainly depends on the actual application requirements. In general, choices can be made according to the development language of the site, the type of database, and the user's habits: if the development language is

ASP, .NET, HTML, database is ACCESS, SQL Server, please select Windows system; if the development language is PHP, HTML, database is MySQL, select Linux system; in addition, if you need a large number of developed optional linux system, you are more accustomed to the optional windows system with graphical interface.

What if I choose the wrong system? Don't worry, you can apply for replacement from the service provider at any time.

Since reinstalling the system is equivalent to formatting the previous system disk, there is a risk of file loss. 56 Cloud editor suggests that you can back up important data in advance, or choose to keep the data disk for reinstallation. However, when the database version or operating system template selected by the user is inconsistent with that before reinstallation, there may be a problem that the service cannot be started.
