Two HILLSTONE E5560

One network cable (HA connection)

Experimental topology

Hillstone-A HA configuration

Select "HA Control connection Interface 1" and use HA0.

Configure the HA interconnect IP address, 1.1.1.1ax 30

Configure HA cluster ID. Selecting a cluster ID means that the HA function is enabled. Be sure to select the same ID number as the backup wall, otherwise the HA establishment fails.

Configure HA priority. Default is 100. the lower the value, the higher the priority.

In this experiment, only a simple HA is configured, and the rest of the configuration remains the default.

Specific configuration, as shown below:

Hillstone-B HA configuration

Select "HA Control connection Interface 1" and use HA0

Configure the HA interconnect IP address, 1.1.1.2 prime 30

Configure HA cluster ID with the same ID number as the main wall

Configure HA priority

The specific configuration is shown below:

Ha wire connection

Interconnect the HA ports of two walls

The wall with lower priority is the backup wall, and the HA light is flashing.

The higher priority wall is the main wall, and the HA light is flashing green.
