[Linux] migrate the Oracle installation directory from the root to the logical volume
1.1 BLOG document structure map
1.2Preface 1.2.1 introduction and precautions for technical enthusiasts, after reading this article, you can master the following skills, and you can also learn some other knowledge that you do not know, ~ O (∩ _ ∩) obsession:
Creation and management of ① Linux logical volumes (focus)
1.2.2 related article links to linux logical Volume Management: http://blog.itpub.net/26736162/viewspace-2124620/, this article is very good.
1.2.3 because there are too many versions of Oracle, in order to learn to use, wheat seedlings installed Oracle 11.2.0.3, Oracle 10.2.0.1 and Oracle 10.2.0.4 on RHEL6.5. However, due to the lack of logical volume management, there is not enough disk space in the root directory, and several hard disks have been added, which is very inconvenient to manage. In the future, after Oracle 12cR2 comes out, we still have to install it together. I think it is better to migrate these Oracle installation directories to logical volumes at once, so that we can manage them later. This article documents the migration process for friends with the same needs.
1.3 Migration process 1.3.1 disk status
The result of the final operation is to remove disks 2, 3, 4, and 5, leaving only one or two disks.
