Xiaomi is expected to launch Xiaomi 12 in December. So far, there are expected to be at least two models in the series-Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Now, according to a new report, the company may launch another phone in the series, called Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced. According to Xiaomi ui, the code of Xiaomi 12 Ultra and Xiaomi 12 Ultra Enhanced is based on the same ROM and source code. According to the report, their code names are Thor and Loki, respectively. It is reported that the code name of Vanilla Xiaomi 12 Ultra is Zeus.

Both phones are said to be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8450 processor, known as Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra series may be equipped with 50MP Samsung GN5 main cameras, as the report says there is little chance that these cameras may be equipped with 200MP cameras. In addition, both phones are said to be equipped with three other 48MP cameras with 2x, 5x and 10x zoom.

According to the leaked camera app, these phones are said to support up to five cameras. As for the scaling value, it is reported that it can be scaled from 0.5 to 120 times. The 120x zoom will be used for photos, while the phone will have 15x zoom for video. Both devices are expected to be equipped with the next generation of display fingerprint sensors.

The Xiaomi 12 Ultra series is likely to be exclusively available in China, and the device is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2022-similar to Mi 11 Ultra. A recent report also suggests that Xiaomi may be equipped with Leica for its upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
