The aggregate functions commonly used in oracle: count () count, sum () summation, avg () average, max (), maximum, min () minimum.

The where condition cannot act on the aggregate function, so you need to use the having clause.

For example, we want employees with a maximum wage of less than 10000 and a minimum wage of more than 3000.

Select emp_no,max (salary), min (salary) form emp

Group by emp_no

Having min (salary) > 3000 and max (salary)
