After the release of the preview version, Microsoft plans to improve the Mac version of Skype for Business in three stages, gradually adding various functions, and finally launching the official version in the third quarter of this year. From the current preview version, Skype for Business on the Mac platform has been able to conduct basic video conferencing and integrated with the Outlook calendar. In addition, full-screen video playback, content browsing, in-meeting calls and inviting members are also available. In the second phase, Microsoft plans to add instant messaging, contacts and other functions in the early summer, while in the third phase at the end of this summer, Microsoft plans to add functions such as phones. As a communication software specially designed for enterprise users, Skype for Business supports up to 250 users in a single call, and is equipped with enterprise-level security and employee management system.
