The "Database" section contains all movies or TV shows you buy from iTunes store, while the "search" tab allows you to search for all services, rentals and downloads for a particular show or movie.

The services provided in the Apple TV application vary from region to region.

Through the Apple TV app, you can access a variety of streaming services, including Disney, Prime Video, HBO Max, Hulu, Pluto TV and Peacock, while Apple TV channels include Showtime, Starz, ePix, CBS All Access, Noggin and AMC. You can also watch spectrum and ATT TV's cable service in the Apple TV app.

In the UK, free access to BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All4, My5 and UKTV Play services have been integrated into applications with Disney, Prime Video and Mubi (art film streaming service). Apple TV channels currently available include Starzplay, Acorn TV, Survey, H Play, BFI Player, Noggin, Moonbug Kids and TasteMade

In Australia, there is currently only an integrated streaming service and no Apple TV channel. Carnival, 9 now, 10 all visits, SBS on demand, and ABC iView are some of the services available through this application.

In all regions, the notable exception is Netflix, which is not yet available.

On what device can I watch Apple TV?

The Apple TV app is pre-installed on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV streaming devices. It can also be used with Roku and Amazon Fire TV streaming devices, PC, Playstation and Xbox game consoles, and some Samsung, LG and Sony smart TVs. Some Vizio TVs can also use the Apple TV app.

Anything else?

The convenience of one-stop shopping for all TV and movie services, and the Apple TV app also allows you to fly from where you left last time, no matter what device you use. So you can start watching shows on Apple TV streaming devices, but you can continue to watch programs on iPhone, iPad or Mac.

In addition, through the family sharing feature, you can share any movie or TV show you buy with your five family members, and you can access the Apple TV channel, as long as they have their own Apple ID instead of sharing your password.
