OPSF routing protocols: internal Gateway Protocol and external Gateway Protocol

Autonomous system: that is, multiple routes are regarded as a whole, and multiple routes running in a whole are all the same protocol.

AS area system: areas running with the same routing process protocol

Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP): and RIP OSPF ISIS

External Gateway Protocol (EGP): and BGP

OSPF is a link-state routing protocol: it forwards its own information base and does not load the routing table.

The working process of OPSF:

Establish adjacency-"link-state database -" shortest path tree-"routing table"

OPSF: open shortest path first selection protocol.

OSPF area: in order to adapt to the large network OSPF dividing multiple areas within the AS, each OSPF router maintains only complete link-state information of the area in which it is located

Area 0 (backbone area): all areas of the core area (OSPF) should be connected to the backbone area.

Backbone area: there can be only one, which is responsible for the dissemination of routing information between areas.

Non-backbone areas (standard areas): areas other than backbone areas.

Router ID: the IP address that uniquely identifies the router in the ospf area.

Purpose: interworking between PC1 and PC2.

Experimental environment:

6. After configuration, use show ip route to check the routing table of R1~R4 to see if there are 10-60 network segments. If there is less than 10, add 10 network segments on R1. Add a minimum of 60 on R3 as long as there are all the network segments in the R1~R4 routing table indicating that PC1 can interoperate with PC2.
