The Innodb_fast_shutdown parameter tells innodb what to do when it is closed. Innodb_fast_shutdown affects the behavior of the innodb table. This parameter has three values to choose from:

0 means that purge all and merge insert buffer,flush dirty pages are required when innodb is turned off. This is the slowest way to shut down, but restart is also the fastest. 1 means that when innodb is turned off, it does not need purge all,merge insert buffer, only flush dirty page, and some dirty pages in the buffer pool will be flushed to disk. 2 means that when innodb is closed, it does not need purge all,merge insert buffer or flush dirty page, but only flushes the logs in log buffer to the log file log files,MySQL will perform a recovery operation the next time it starts.

If it was in the case of innodb_fast_shutdown=2 or mysql crash the last time innodb was closed, it uses redo log to redo transactions that have already been committed.

The next operation process is:

(1)。 Rollback uncompleted transitions cancels transactions that are not committed

(2)。 Purge all clears useless undo pages

(3)。 Merge insert buffer merge insert buffer
