Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--

Recently, win10 has been updated automatically, and many students have upgraded from win7, win8, win10 and other low versions to the latest win10 1607 version. There is an extra Windows.old folder in disk C. This is the old system file for restore. If we do not need to restore to the previous system, we can delete this folder. The following is the specific deletion process:

A welcome screen for win10 updates is attached:

Old takes up more than 10% of the updated C disk, so delete some space (it is said that this folder will not exist on its own after a long time. I don't know if it's true).

1) Open "my computer", right-click "disk C", and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu

2) in the pop-up dialog box, select the "disk cleanup" option, scan, and wait a moment

3) after the scan is completed, the following interface appears, select "Clean system Files", scan again, and wait a moment

4) after this scan is completed, the following interface appears. Swipe the options and select "previous Windows installation" and "temporary Windows installation File". Click "OK" button, click "Delete File" to confirm

5) confirm before deletion. If you do not want to restore the previous system, click "OK", and then the system will delete it.

6) Click "Clean system Files" again. There is no previous system option file, and more than 10 GB of space has been freed on the disk, as shown below:
