Xiaobian felt that such a good experience could be shared with more like-minded friends, so he decided to work overtime and launch Quick BI's function, scene and skill sharing series to lick bricks for the big data era!

Quick BI is an efficient data analysis and presentation service platform provided by Alibaba Cloud for enterprises and individuals, carrying the capabilities of data connection, data processing, data analysis and visualization. This article is the first in a Quick BI sharing series that helps you get started with Agile BI in 20 minutes.

Step 1: Log in to Quick BI and enter the workspace

Step 2: Connect the data sources, configure the data set, and prepare the raw materials.

After entering the workspace, you can select the data source for connection. The data source can be your own database or the database on Alibaba Cloud.

Take RDS for MySQL database on Alibaba Cloud as an example, fill in relevant information and add it.

Even simpler, you can upload local data files directly.

Select a table in the data source to create the dataset.

A series of operations such as renaming, formatting, and adding derivative fields can be supported for dataset fields to supplement the data requirements in actual analysis scenarios.

The colloquial point adds two concepts: dimension-the object and attributes we want to analyze, and metric-the numerical representation that describes the object. However, please don't worry about this concept, Quick BI will intelligently identify and distinguish, you probably know it.

Step 3: Create a dashboard, drag and drop to start the analysis path.

Select the chart to be presented, select the data, match the style, and the visualization will be presented. Multiple chart construction, data selection and exploration, chart style adjustment, is the process of data analysis. Of course, each chart also has a lot of advanced functions, so Xiaobian will leave it to everyone to experience!

Analysis ideas + charts + data, through the dashboard can present the true knowledge of the data we want to transmit, save through sharing or authorization can let more small partners see this analysis page! The efficiency was increased!

Step 4: Create a spreadsheet, and move your offline Excel skills directly to the cloud.

Select the required data, display and secondary analysis and processing in the spreadsheet, do you feel that all Excel skills have been fully utilized before, gold will always shine, and skills can always be displayed?

Step 5: Create data portal integration analysis page, mobile access, email subscription view, the dissemination of data analysis results is so simple.
