Event ID 32042

Description:

The incoming HTTPS certificate is invalid.

User name: LyncFE01.contoso.local issuer: Contoso CA

Reason: this may be because the HTTPS certificate has expired or is not trusted. The reference to which the serial number of the certificate is connected.

Solution: please check the remote server and make sure the certificate is valid. In addition, make sure that the issuer's entire certificate chain exists on the local computer.

Event 61045

Description: the DATAMCU program cannot connect to the front end with the C3P channel (HTTPS connection).

The web conferencing server was unable to send C3P notifications to focus on https://localhost:444/LiveServer/Focus.

Reason: the front end may not function properly, or it may not be accessible from the MCU over the network (HTTPS connection is interrupted). The unavailability of the C3P channel affects the conference control, and it also prevents users from joining and starting the meeting.

Solution: verify that the front-end server is functioning properly and that the network connection and HTTPS connection can establish a connection between the MCU and the front-end server.

After analysis, this error was attempted because the Lync server 2013 front-end server was installed in Windows Server 2012 R2 due to changes made to how to cache TLS sessions in Windows Server 2012 R2. These changes can cause some Lync Server 2013 servers to fail through TCP port 444 involving communication between servers or internal servers.

There is another method that can be solved by modifying the registry as follows:

1. Click start, type regedit in the start search box, and then click regedit.exe in the results list.

7. Exit Registry Editor.

8. Open the server Lync Management Shell.
