To implement uploads and downloads before local and virtual machines, in addition to using the previously mentioned mount flash drive, you can also use shared folders. The specific steps are as follows:

"Virtual Machine"-"Settings"-"options"-enable shared folders-add native paths.

Then, fill in the local path and the name of the shared folder.

Finally, the shared folder can be found in the / mnt/hgfs directory of the virtual machine. (if the directory is empty, there should be no problem after installing VMware-tool.)

All right, let's get down to business. In addition to the above two options, you can also choose network transmission. Network transmission, ssh3 protocol or ftp protocol can be used here.

SSH is the industry standard for replacing Telnet and other remote console management applications. This protocol is used by SecureCRT remote terminals.

Log in to the virtual machine through CRT, a CRT terminal is equivalent to a client, and the virtual machine is our server, so if you want to access the content of the server, you must know its IP address.

Step 1: log in to CRT

On the premise of ensuring network connectivity (see the previous article), open CRT, "File"-"Connect"-"New session" (or "Quick connection")

Fill in the IP of the virtual machine and choose to log in the user name and enter the password.

Green tick is shown in the upper left corner, which means that the login is successful!

Ps: if the login is not successful, check to see if the firewall is off. Command: service iptables stop

Step 2: upload the file

Enter command: rz

The dialog box will pop up automatically, select the file in this machine, click "add", and then "OK".

After that, the following appears, indicating that the transmission was successful.

Which folder did you send it to?

Click the last item of "options"-"session options"-"Category" to see the default path for uploading and downloading, that is, under the / root directory, you can check whether the transfer is successful (you can modify it yourself).

Step 3: download the file

Command: sz file name

(the downloaded directory can be modified in the same way)
