Description: with regard to the VWare virtual host bridging to the EVE-NG internal network, I tested the life or death of the iOL switch for N times without success, so the later experiment is based on the environment built by the iOL router.

Open the "Virtual Network Editor" of vmare. As shown in the following figure, two virtual networks are added. VMnet2 is the NAT mode, which is used for the management network card of EVE-NG. VMnet8 is the Host host, which is used to bridge to the EVE-NG network. Of course, the name of the network card can be defined by IP, depending on your habits.

2. The network card and host information of EVE-NG virtual machine are shown in the following figure. This EVE-NG virtual machine is installed in IOS scheme, of course, it can also be imported by OVA template. For specific installation method, please refer to the official website or Baidu.

3. Modify the EVE-NG network card information, vi / etc/network/interfaces as shown below, of course, you can change eth2 to DHCP according to your personal preference, which needs to be consistent with the virtual network card information established by VMWare above.

4. Build a new machine on VMWARE, either windows or Linux, and I use Linux. Cacti is built on this linux to manage the internal network of EVE-NG, and ansible is used for configuration and distribution. The network information is as follows. Of course, the gateway of this network card is the gateway of some Vlan on EVE-NG, so that you can get through the internal network of VM and EVE-NG.

5. Test the connectivity between the VM Linux host and the EVE-NG bridge network card.
